Wichita State officials in Hutch for prospective students

Officials are inviting you to discover Wichita State University in Hutchinson from 6-8 p-m, on Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center, 1100 N. Plum St.

High school juniors, seniors, community college students and their parents are invited to enjoy dinner and discussion with Wichita State students and staff.

This informal dinner will provide attendees a wealth of information about WSU in an intimate setting. Learn about admissions, scholarships, financial aid, housing, cooperative education, student life and academic majors on campus.

A $1,000 WSU scholarship for the 2012-2013 school year will be awarded to a senior or transfer student at the dinner. To be eligible, the student must either be admitted to WSU or apply at the event.

Dinner for each student and one guest is free. Additional guests are $10 each. Reservations are required by Thursday, Sept. 15. Space is limited, so please RSVP at www.wichita.edu/admissions. (click on “RSVP for an Event”).
