STAFFORD COUNTY — A $1,289,893 surfacing project on U.S. 50 in Stafford County is scheduled to begin April 23.

The project will span 15 miles from the junction of U.S. 281 and U.S. 50, east to the Stafford/Reno county line. The prime contractor, Venture Corporation of Great Bend, has 30 working days to complete the project.

A pilot car and flagging operation will direct traffic.
