HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Crews were scheduled to begin repairing cracks on more than eight miles of U.S. 50 in Reno County this week, but that work has been suspended until March 4, 2019, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.

The project was scheduled to start on U.S. 50 from the four-lane/two-lane division east of Hutchinson and continue east to the Reno/Harvey county line.
Pavement Pros, LLC, of McPherson will be the primary contractor for the $117,977 project once it begins and will have 45 days to complete the work.
