HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Mark Yackley, Medical Director for Hospice and HomeCare of Reno County, has been certified by the Hospice Medical Director Certification Board, a prestigious national organization headquartered in
Chicago, Ill. Dr. Yackley has served as Medical Director for Hospice and HomeCare of Reno County since 2007.
HMDCB was established in 2012 to serve as an independent not-for-profit certifying body to design, implement and evaluate a certification program for hospice medical directors and other physicians who provide hospice care. Dr. Yackley successfully completed a rigorous three hour 165-question examination as the final step in obtaining the certification. Dr. Yackley is a graduate of the Creighton University School of Medicine after receiving an undergraduate degree in biology from the Omaha, Neb. institution of higher learning.
He completed his Residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and has been certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine since 2004.
