Dunstan Anthony Wagner of Anchorage, Alaska | 1979 – 2019 |

Dunstan Anthony Wagner, 39, formerly of Hutchinson, died August 18, 2019, at Moose Run Golf Course in Anchorage, Alaska. He was born on November 24, 1979, to Teresa Yvonne Landes.

Dunstan attended Hutchinson High School and later earned his GED. He was the assistant golf course manager at Moose Run Golf Course, Anchorage, Alaska.

On April 20, 2013, he married Jasmine Elwood, in Hawaii.

Dunstan is survived by: wife, Jasmine; daughters, Kaylee and Paytin Wagner; sons, Conrad Sovalik, Hector Cappas, Austin Young, Michael Elwood; grandsons, Emmett Lawrence, Calvin Sovalik, all of Anchorage; mother, Teresa (Gary) Landes, Hutchinson; and brother, John Scothorn, Hutchinson.

He was preceded in death by: infant sister, Charolette Bradshaw; uncles, Joe and Ronnie Wagner; aunt, Mary Osborne; and his grandparents.

Friends may sign the book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.

Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2019, at Carey Park Gazebo.

David R. Landis, Sr. | 1940 – 2019 |

David Ray Landis, Sr. was born February 12, 1940, in Highspire, PA. He passed on August 18, 2019, in Hutchinson, Kansas.

David married Lynn Phillips in 1962, and they had three children, eleven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was a businessman, an educator, coach, counselor, and pastor.

Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2019, at Grace Bible Church, 1221 E. 33, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.

Memorials may be made to Sterling College Scholarship Fund or Central Christian School Scholarship Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS  67501.

Howard E. Southworth | 1933 – 2019 |

Howard E. Southworth, 86, of Hutchinson, died Saturday, August 17, 2019, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born January 11, 1933, in Hutchinson, to Herbert Weaver and Sarah Alice (Hoole) Southworth.

He was a 1951 graduate of Hutchinson High School, 1953 graduate of Hutchinson Community College and attended Kansas State University. Howard served in the United States Air Force for two years.  He was a founder and member for over 50 years of Hutchinson Civitan Club, Hutchinson Community College Quarterback Club, SCORE, Executive Club, and Salt Minors Barbershop Chorus.  Howard was the owner of Southworth Printing Company.

Favorite pastimes and hobbies included playing golf, participating in various coffee groups, singing in the church choir, being a pilot and loving to fly; however, the thing that brought him the most enjoyment was following the activities of his kids and grandkids.

On September 3, 1955, he married Anita Mae McPhee in Gary, Indiana. They shared over 61 years of marriage prior to her death on March 22, 2017.

Howard is survived by:  children, Herbert and wife Debra of Wichita, Lisa Ronen and husband Michael of Kechi; grandchildren, Zachary Luckett and wife Elizabeth, Amanda Harmon and husband Chad, Rebecca Walenz and husband Samuel, Audrey Wolters and husband Caleb, Daniel Southworth and wife Lauren; great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Louisa and Drew Luckett, Collin and Grace Harmon, and Jonah Walenz.

He was preceded in death by:  his parents; daughter, Marilee Southworth; grandson, David Andrew Luckett; great-granddaughter, Olivia Walenz; brother, Herbert Southworth; sisters, Roberta Dellenbaugh, Merrie Mae McGeehee and Margaret Southworth.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2019, at First United Methodist Church, 101 East First Avenue, Hutchinson, with Pastor Mic McGuire officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd., Hutchinson.  Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary and Crematory.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church Sunday morning radio program or Hutchinson Civitan Club, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.

Paula S. Brown | 1965 – 2019 |

Paula S. Brown passed away on August 17, 2019 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson. She was born December 11, 1965 in Hutchinson, KS to David Cadle and Nadine (Youngberg) Oliver.

Paula grew up in Hutchinson, where she attended Grade school and High school. On July 7, 1983 she married Steven Brown in Hutchinson. Paula worked as a CNA/CMA for 20 years. She enjoyed her Adult Coloring Books, reading, and going to the casino. She was also a member of Riverside Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her father, David Cadle.

She is survived by her husband, Steven; daughters, Tiffany (Justin) Crider and Heather (Nick) Tipton; sisters, Patti (Tom) Daines, Pam (Kenny) Manche, Laurie Davis and Becky Brunton; and grandchildren, Caden, Kayla, Christian and Jennessa Strickland, Jason, Allison, and Stephanie Tipton.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, August 23, 2019 at Riverside Baptist Church, 114 E. 8th Ave., Hutchinson, KS, with Pastor Richard Haley officiating. There will be no public visitation as cremation was chosen. Memorials may be given to the Riverside Baptist Church and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30 th Ave. Hutchinson, KS 67502.

Michael C. Pritchard | 1977 – 2019 |

Michael C. Pritchard, 42, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019 in Leavenworth, KS.

Michael was born April 1, 1977 in Clinton, Missouri, the son of Claudie and Juanita Ida (Pennel) Pritchard. Michael had worked for the past 8 years for Heatron in Leavenworth, KS and was a member of the Gypsy Aces Motorcycle Club of Leavenworth.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gilford and Pearl Pritchard.

Michael is survived by his parents, Claudie and Junita Ida Pritchard of Hutchinson, KS; a son Michael Pritchard of Eldorado, KS; six siblings, Claudie Pritchard, Karen (Valentino) Rodriguez, Les (Marcine) Pritchard, Charlie (Edy) Pritchard, Melissa Wilson, all of Hutchinson, KS and Wayne (Kris) Pritchard of Perry, KS. He is also survived by 7 nieces, 10 nephews, 12 great-nieces, 8 great- nephews, 2 great great nieces, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502 with Pastor Matt Stafford officiating.

Visitation will be held on August 24, 2019 from 2 – 4 p.m. at Davis Funeral Chapel, 531 Shawnee, Leavenworth, KS 66048 and prior to service on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel.

Burial will take place in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, KS. Memorials may be given to Michael C. Pritchard Memorial Fund and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel.
