Betty Elaine Baker, 96, of Hutchinson, died November 27, 2018, at Waldron Place, Hutchinson. She was born May 15, 1922, in Matfield Green, the youngest daughter of Clyde L. and Lula Underwood.

On February 14, 1943, Betty married D. Travis Baker. He died in 1987.

Betty received her education at a college in the San Fernando Valley and was a retired kindergarten teacher in a private school in Encino, CA. While living in Durango, CO, she became an accomplished artist in oils. After living in Nebraska, California, Colorado, Arizona, Washington, and Arkansas, Betty returned to Kansas in 1982. She was a member of Crossroads Christian Church, Hutchinson.

She is survived by: son, Tom Baker (Kathy), Coquille, OR; granddaughter, Sharon Baker; and friend, Judi Webster, Hutchinson. Betty was preceded in death by: her parents; son, Mike; sisters, Frieda Maner and Vera Hursh; and brother, Arnold Underwood.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 30, 2018, at Waldron Place, 1700 E. 23rd Ave., Hutchinson, with Pastor Wayne Pittman officiating. Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2018,in Matfield Green Cemetery.

Goldie Ann Brubaker, 65, of Hutchinson, died Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born December 6, 1952, in Sterling, to Everett Leroy and Wilma Jean (Hileman) Gates.

Goldie was an insurance specialist for the Medical Center and most recently, for Dr. Robert Coleman.

On December 10, 1968, she married David Brubaker in Anthony. They shared almost 50 years of marriage.

Goldie is survived by: husband, David; son, Ronnie Brubaker (Sara); daughter, Sherry Treece, all of Hutchinson; sister, Carlene ‘Short’ Taylor of Abilene; and grandchildren, David, Haley, and Charity Treece.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; sister, Jolene Householder; and brother-in-law, Gene Taylor.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Elliott Chapel. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Elliott Mortuary. Richard Leon Miller, 82, of Hutchinson, passed away with his loving daughter by his side, Sunday, November 25, 2018, at the family home. He was born December 28, 1935, in Anthony to Elmer and Treva (Thomas) Miller.

He attended Anthony area schools, but graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1954. Richard worked as a bricklayer for Bricklayers Local #2 in Kansas for 43 years. He retired in 1997. Richard was a member of Kansas Building Trades and Crossroads Christian Church. His hobbies included repairing clocks and restoring antique cars.

On June 3, 1956, he married Patricia Derr in Hutchinson. She died March 27, 1998. He then married Beverly Withrow on May 22, 1999, in Hutchinson. She died December 7, 2016. Richard is survived by: sons, Dennis Miller and wife Susan, of Haysville, and Richard Miller of Wichita; daughter, Sheryl Sisler of Hutchinson; stepchildren, Annell Taylor and husband Tim and Brett Shultz and wife Gina, along with their families; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by: his parents; sisters, Carolyn Poe and Marilyn McKinnis; brother, Harold Miller; and son-in-law, Jeff Sisler.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2018, at Elliott Mortuary, with Pastor Wayne Pittman officiating. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may sign the book from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m.

O. Aileen Anderson, 99, died Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Thorne Care Center, Hutchinson. She was born April 7, 1919, in Mount Hope, to Roy Dewey and Olive Myree (Porter) Kissick.

Aileen graduated from Mount Hope High School in 1937 and attended Friends University, Wichita.  She enjoyed watching KU basketball and decorating.  Aileen was a homemaker.  She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson, and active in the United Methodist Women, holding numerous positions at both the local, district, and conference level.

On April 27, 1940, she married William Clark Anderson in Mount Hope.  He died April 23, 2006, just four days shy of their 66^thwedding anniversary. Aileen is survived by:  son, T. Jeffrey Anderson and wife Rogene of Lawrence; daughters, T. Jan Dwyer and husband Ed, C. Joan Strano, Jill Foss and husband Doug, all of Hutchinson; sister-in-law, Pat Kissick of Mount Hope; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by:  her parents; sister, Joan Grimsman; brother, Jim Kissick; son-in-law, Dick Strano; and grandson, Cory Clark Stenholm.

Cremation has taken place.  Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2018, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1602 N. Main, Hutchinson, with the Reverend Dr.  Kim Biery officiating.  Private family inurnment will take place in Mount Hope Cemetery.  Friends may sign the book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary.
