Dallke, Julia Ann “Annie” 61, died April 19, 2018, at her home in Burrton. She was born March 10, 1957, in Coffeyville, to Johnny F. Conger, Sr. and E. Darlene (Blalock) Conger.

On December 18, 1998, she married Kenneth D. Dallke in Currituck, North Carolina. He survives. Other survivors include: her father, Johnny Conger, Haysville; sons, Jonathan Cole (Amy), James Cole, all of Wichita, son, Jonathan Dallke of the home; daughters, Stephanie Atkinson (Domonic), Wichita, Michelle Lipe (Richard) of Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her mother; brother, Johnny F. Conger, Jr. and sister, Donna K. Pendlay.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2018, in the Burrton Cemetery, Burrton, with the Rev. Cindy Dubovich presiding. Joan Pauline Rodgers, 85, of Hutchinson, died Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community, Buhler. She was born November 4, 1932, in Halstead, the daughter of Homer and Pauline (Schaplowsky) Stewart. Joan graduated from Mount Hope High School in 1951 and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Eastwood Church of Christ. On June 29, 1952, she married Glen V. Rodgers in Ponca City, OK. He died November 8, 2009.

Joan is survived by: sons, Bob Rodgers and his partner, Steven Applequist of San Diego, CA, and Mike Rodgers and wife Jackie of Palmdale, CA; daughter, Kathy Palmer and husband Brad of Hutchinson; daughter-in-law, Hope Rodgers; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by: her parents; brother, Alan Stewart; sisters, Sara Stewart and Jean Newby; and stepson, Richard Rodgers.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Wayne DeWindt officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, with family to receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary. Lucille L. ‘Mickey’ Klatt, of Hutchinson, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Hester Care Center, Hutchinson. She was born July 13, 1927, in Nickerson, the daughter of Eldon and Myrle (Pike) Moorman.

She was a 1945 graduate of Nickerson High School. Lucille retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1982, with 23 years of service. She worked the switchboard for the Kansas State Fair from 1982 to 1996. Lucille was a member of the Nickerson United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women, Silver Leaf Chapter #464 Order of Eastern Star, American Legion Women’s Auxiliary #68, and Women of the Moose #1371.

She married Guy Lynn Klatt on February 28, 1948, in Nickerson. He died February 4, 2002.  Lucille is survived by: children, Mike (Dorothy) of Kimberling City, Missouri, Marla Bourassa (Douglas) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Lynnette Brown (Steve) of Baldwinsville, New York, and Dennis Swinney(Cheryl) of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Jeremy Brown, Tyler Brown, Colby Brown, Brett Bourassa, Brandon Bourassa, Melissa Gutierrez, Amanda Swinney, Brian Senogles, Brent Senogles; and 11 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by: her parents; grandchildren, infant Christopher Brown and Christie Klatt; and sister, Helen Magoffin.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2018, at Elliott Chapel, with J. Stephen Brown presiding. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 12 to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, with the family present from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.

Kenneth Duane ‘Kenny’ Schmidt, 61, of Hutchinson, died April 18, 2018, at his home in Hutchinson. He was born October 25, 1956, in Newton, the son of Alfred R. and Mary M. (Fast) Schmidt.

Kenny graduated from Buhler High School in 1974 and worked as a mechanic in various area shops and his own shop. He also enjoyed driving race cars and in antique tractor pulls.

On October 15, 1998, Kenny married Cynthia M. Kallaus in Hutchinson. She survives. Other survivors include: daughters, Jessica Vaile (Cory) of Hutchinson and Misty Xicum Ku (Leo) of San Francisco, CA; stepson, Ryan Penner (Chelsea) of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Christian, Connor, Kai, Hazel, Aiden, Caleb; and mother, Mary Schmidt of Buhler. He was preceded in death by his father.

According to Kenny’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2018, at Elliott Mortuary. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Monday at Elliott Mortuary.

Memorial donations are suggested to Arbor Day Foundation, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.

Jack D. Crow, 93, of Hutchinson, died April 16, 2018, at his sister’s home in Hutchinson.

He was a self-employed artist, graduating from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1950. Jack was also a veteran of World War II.

Military honors will be conducted by the Fort Riley Honor Guard 11 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2018, at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson.

Memorials may be made to the Hutchinson Art Center, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
